Monsters, jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, oh my! These spooky pudding cups are the perfect Halloween treat, enjoyed by kids and adults alike. They’re a super simple Halloween craft even the smallest trick-or-treater will be able to help make. You can choose to make all of one kind, or throw in a little variety. Regardless of which creature you create, one thing is guaranteed: spooky deliciousness!

What you’ll need:

  • 1-2 packages of vanilla pudding mix (one package makes about 4 pudding cups)
  • 2-4 cups milk (2 cups for every one package of pudding)
  • Black permanent marker
  • Clear plastic cups (3 oz.)
  • Green and orange food coloring
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • Pretzel rods
  • Mint leaves

Directions:

  1. Make the pudding as directed
  2. Divide the pudding mixture into thirds
  3. Add 1-2 drops of green food coloring to 1/3 of the mixture, and another 1-2 drops of orange food coloring to another 1/3
  4. Using the sharpie, decorate the cups like monsters (Frankenstien is a good one), ghosts and/or jack-o-lanterns
  5. Pour the pudding into the cups
  6. Place the cookies in a plastic bag and crush using a rolling pin
  7. Add the crushed cookies on top of the monster pudding cups
  8. Add the pretzel rods and mint leaves on top of the jack-o-lantern pudding cups
